About
At May Contain Nuts Inc, we’re all about mobile apps, taking the freshest ideas and turning them into fun applications for iPhone, Blackberry, Android and iPad. But who are we and where did this all come from?
May Contain Nuts Inc brings together co-founders, Dylan Thwaites and David Pollock, two winners of the prestigious Ernst & Young UK Technology Entrepreneur of the Year award.
Dylan Thwaites
Dylan Thwaites was one of few Brits to truly capitalise on the search market in its early days. He founded one of the UK’s leading search agencies, Latitude (then known as Corporem Global) in 2001. He then grew the company from an annual turnover of £100,000 to an impressive £50 million, before selling it in 2007.
Dylan’s keen eye for new opportunity meant the mobile applications market was incredibly appealing,
“The mobile apps market is cutting edge and full of opportunity. It’s an exciting area to operate in – fast-moving and full of creativity.”
David Pollock
David Pollock founded Chess Telecom in 1993. The telecoms company is one of the UK’s fastest growing businesses and in 2010 was named in the Sunday Times as one of the top 100 companies to work for in the UK. This achievement was one of the 41 accolades the company has received in recent years.
David is always seeking out opportunities in new and growing areas and is excited by the apps industry.
“Apps is the new frontier – it’s a bit like the California gold rush of the modern age. And the best way to learn about a new market, is to invest your hard earned cash into it and make a return!”
